Chicken Soup with Plum Tomatoes
A perfect autumn warmer

Procedure:

In a deep bottom pan, add half of the water onion, ginger, garlic and chicken bring to a boil for about 5 minutes before adding cinnamon stick, tomatoes and whole black peppercorns. Simmer for a further 5 minutes. Add the remaining water, and potatoes, bring to a boil over high fire, this is when the flavour from the chicken comes out. 

Add carrots, boil for further 2 minutes then add the zucchini, season with salt and cover the pan. Add cabbage, and chilli, chilli gives a good flavour but please don\'t over do the chilli if you don\'t like spicy soup. Serve hot.

Ingredients:
1 kg Chicken thigh trim the fat
2 med Onion peeled and cut into 8 pieces
1 bulb Garlic crushed
½ kg Tomatoes cut into halves
2 inch Ginger peeled and sliced very thinly
2 small Potatoes peeled and cut in half
2 med Carrots peeled and cut in half inch wide strips
1  Zucchini cut into half inch chunks
½ small Cabbage cut into half inch strips - do not
1 tsp Black peppercorns 
1 tsp Ground black pepper 
2  Cinnamon sticks 
2  Red chilli peppers 
2 ltr water 
  Salt to taste
